Emperor's Suite

The Chinese Emperor's Suite recreates the luxuriance of Qing Dynasty chambers. It occupies two floors, being connected by a marble staircase.

Carved beams, a balcony, painted rafters, gilt and jade mosaics, and most of all vivid imperial yellow illuminated by streaming light from the west-facing windows, set the imperial scene of yesteryear. Throughout the chambers, carefully selected carpets and reproduced furniture further enhance the experience, while large collections of porcelain and cloisonné, scrolls and paintings give the rooms a feeling of elegance.

Moreover, state of the art communications and entertainment are at occupants' fingertips with phones, a fax machine, a photocopier, and Internet data port and of course, chilled champagne in the refrigerator.

In the evening, guests can lie in their dragon bed and watch the sun set over the "rest" of the Forbidden City. The Emperor's Suite is truly Emperor's dreams destination.
